Studio Policies
Practice and Instrument: Students are expected to practice daily on a well-maintained acoustic piano, guitar or drums.
Dress Code: Kids are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes, pants and shirts are suggested. Adults ages 16 above especially ladies are required to wear casual comfortable outfits. Wearing tight shorts, slippers and sleeveless in light and thin fabric is strictly prohibited. Ladies are expected to wear and come to studio lessons in modest outfit.
General Information: Private lessons are offered in 60-minute sessions, lessons can be done thrice or twice week depending on the slot availability or as requested by the parent.
At The Studio: Students are expected to arrive for lessons on time with all their materials and music. Parents and siblings may quietly peruse the waiting area, wait in their vehicle in the driveway, or run errands so long as they return to pick up their student in a timely fashion. To discuss student progress, parents are welcome to talk with the teacher during the first five minutes of the student's lesson.
Makeup Lessons: Due to the teacher's limited availability, makeup lessons cannot be guaranteed. However, if an absence arises due to unforeseen situations such as an accident, sickness or family emergency, the teacher will accommodate a makeup class. Please notify the teacher at least 24 hours in advance for classes cancellation.
Materials: The student will be given an assignment notebook or modules at their first lesson, which will be used keep track of assigned pieces and practice suggestions/goals for each week. The teacher will obtain all needed books and materials for the student. Modules are to be shouldered by the student ranging P200-300 only.
Parent Participation: Parents are encouraged to be supportive and active participants in practice at home. Parents are also encouraged to attend and quietly observe lessons once a month or more.
